RJA Dispersions 2PEA

D3000 series are dispersions in 2-PEA for uv-curable systems. The D3010 dispersions in 2-PEA (CAS Number 48145-04-6) are usually at 20% pigment except for the white which contains 75% white by weight while the dispersions of organic pigments in other monomers are at 25% pigment. The approved dispersions are listed below with brief descriptions, typical viscosities (cps at 25 C), and typical mean particle size (nM) measured by dynamic light scattering (dls). These values are typical but should not be considered as specifications. The dispersions have passed our 8-week stability tests in monomer. Vehicle additives and solvents can interfere with stability. If our dispersions are not stable in your vehicle, feel free to contact us to develop dispersions to be compatible with your vehicle. The D3010-M and D3010-C concentrates will body up some with time but when let down to 5% pigment or less the dispersions remain stable.

We offer some dispersions in a newer dispersant package and offer a second pigment. These are noted by the numbers. The third digit is the dispersant package and the last digit refers to the pigment. If you use dispersions with both dispersant packages, you need to confirm that there is no incompatibility between the two.

*These concentrates can body up with time. However, dilutions in 2-PEA to pigment loadings of 5% or less are quite stable.

**FX suffix indicates that these dispersions are recommended for making ink jet inks for fixed array printing.
